Wonderful Hospitality & such stunning accommodation . Thank you for a great relaxing experience to start our married life together .
We don't know enough words in English to explain our stay . Traveling with children is not often easy , but at backbrae it was like home from home . thanks for your wonderful hospitality and sharing your superb home with us . hope to see you again.

From arrival we received a 1st class experience -so much that we have booked to come back in 2 months.

Back Brae is not a B&B - It's a H&B ( Home & Breakfast) because you feel like you've come home. Catherine, Wilson and Alex made us feel like family. Catherine - your cooking is AMAZING!! Wilson - the home you designed, and built is a gem! Thank you both for all the little extras (cheese sconces, homemade bread, beer etc)that made our stay so special. We will not say goodbye - just "we wait until we see you again"! (P.S. Alex - You are beautiful and talented. We wish you all the best!). Our rating 15 stars ( 5 for each member of the house hold)
A very welcoming warm family home furnished and finished to the highest standards, made our time here totally relaxed . treated as friends. food excellent , service very good- all needs-requests catered for . All in all a really great experience .
We travel a lot but this is the best ever by far, very exceptional people , food and facilities . Thank you for making our weekend fantastic , and we will see you soon for sure . Cath , Wilson & Alex ,you are the nicest people we could wish to meet and your home and hospitality are magical .

Decorators from Derby who travel all over Britain . Best B & B ever stayed in , bed , room ,cinema, food etc to die for.Hospitality just a joy to behold , made our stay in Scotland great . Hope to return soon.

The room was great and the beds very comfortable .The breakfast was excellent ( too much ). very friendly people with helpful advice on our boat trip on loch ness.

Fantastic , We had an amazing time here celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary . Very relaxing & comfortable. The food was amazing , the hot tub was brilliant ,as was the Cinema.We will definitely be back . Cath is the hostess with the mostess !!

First night of wedding bliss in a stunning house , fabulous bedroom , shortbread , chocolates & champagne were a very welcome finish to our fabulous wedding day . thanks again . Would recommend Back Brae to any honeymoon couple.
We had a wonderful stay at Backbrae House Bed and Breakfast, it is a beautiful old stone house artfully redone with all modern amenities. The accommodation is suited to both families or couples. The home has beautiful furnishings along with an amazing theatre room. The jaccuzi sits on the upper balcony overlooking open countryside views. The location is quite and serene yet close proximity to Edinburgh and Glasgow for sightseeing or business. Wilson, Catherine and Alex were wonderful hosts and there was never a shortage of great food. We would recommend anyone visiting this area to stay at Backbrae House Bed and Breakfast it is like home away from home.
We had a brilliant weekend at Back Brae House . After having settled in on the friday , we awoke on the Saturday Morning to the smell of freshly Baked scones . Breakfast was wonderful , with all locally produced bacon and sausages along with Back Brae's own fresh free range eggs . As Back Brae is located right between Glasgow & Edinburgh , we decided to spend the day in a Glasgow. On returning to Back Brae we retired into the cinema where we watch the X Factor , then much to the disgust of Maurice , we watched Hairspray ( Flyspray , as he called it) . Next morning we were treated to another Full breakfast before departing late morning . Thanks again for a wonderful weekend , we will defiantly be back .
We show our poodles and travel all over the country ,alot of time we stay over . This is by far the best b n b we have ever stayed in . The rooms were stunning , Mum loved the hot tub and the cinema room was fab .Thank you for allowing us to stay , we will see you in November xxx.
